Partners and Ownership

Wet Return is run by the same people who own four businesses, and this page lists them, the pages that link to them and the rules those links follow.

The four businesses

Where they are linked

PlumbingSupplyAndMore is linked from pages about specific parts, such as steam radiator air vents, expansion tanks and mini-splits, so readers can see what a part looks like. Those are the kind of parts a technician fits; no page suggests installing them yourself.

Central Plumbing & HVAC is linked from a few pages, such as replacing an old boiler, as an example of how a full-service contractor describes its heating or cooling work. It serves only its own part of Pennsylvania; elsewhere, look for a local contractor offering the same.

SoftPro Water Systems and Quality Water Treatment are linked from combi boilers and replacing an old boiler, where hard water on the domestic hot-water side comes up. A softener or salt-free conditioner is one way to deal with it; the boiler maker's water requirements come first.

The home page, the five folder hubs and the carbon monoxide page carry no partner links.

Every link to one of these businesses carries a note beside it saying the business is run by Wet Return's owners. Pages that link to them also carry an ownership note near the top. The links are ordinary links, with no sponsored tags, and pages print no prices.

No page calls a product the best, and none suggests buying a part when the job belongs to a technician.

What the businesses do not see

The businesses do not write, review or approve pages before they go up. They do not see who reads Wet Return: the site has no accounts or forms and passes no reader data to them, as set out on reader privacy. More about the site is on who runs Wet Return.
